Judges Comments: "Jaw-dropping speed, eye-catching colour, sheer visceral impact… Ian's shot has it all. You can almost hear the throb of the engine and the roar of the crowd! It also breaks the photographic rules – the car's zooming out of the frame rather than into it, and the car doesn't appear to be pin-sharp anywhere – but it works because it captures the thrills and spills of the race. Good stuff!" |
Thank you to everyone who entered and keep an eye out for more photo competitions in the future. The competition was open to anyone except accredited press and the winner was judged by Practical Photography Magazine.
