The Auto Trader Easter Thunderball Friday 22nd to Monday 25th April 2011

The 2011 Autotrader Easter Thunderball opened the Drag Racing season with four days of great racing and sunshine. There were several record breaking performances on the track including the world record for an electric doorslammer by Sam Young in the Black Current Beetle. The rider who came off his bike on Saturday was not seriously injured.

Over in the Live Action Arena the monster trucks, freestyle motocross riders and street riders were joined by the Backdraft wheelie firetruck and the Vander brothers from South Africa on the Space Wheel.
