Stunts & Drag Racing Family Firework Spectacular
Flame & Thunder is an action packed day for all the family featuring motorsport stunts and Drag Racing. Witness a huge gathering of jet vehicles including a Jet Dragster, Jet Funny Cars, Jet Truck and Jet Beetle. Experience 300mph Nitro guzzling Top Fuel machines along with cars and bikes from all classes of Drag Racing. Watch stunt displays including Monster Trucks, Freestyle Motocross, Drifting and Stunt Riders. The climax of the day will be a huge firework display with massive bonfire.

Top Fuel!
Your last chance to see these 8000bhp machines this season. Witness them power down the dragstrip and experience the explosive action of what top level Drag Racing has to offer.
Featuring the European Finals winner Jon Webster and Siw Nystad in Top Fuel Dragsters with John Spuffard and Gordon Smith in Fuel Funny Cars.
More Drag Cars
There will be Drag displays running throughout the day featuring cars and bikes from a variety of national Drag Racing classes including a shootout between ESC and HKS cars.

Fireforce Jet Funny Car
The World Record-Breaking Fireforce 3 Jet Car of Martin Hill!
Firestorm Jet Funny Car
Roger Goring's Firestorm Jet Car will be scorching the track with his very own Flame & Thunder!
Monster Trucks
The mighty monster trucks Podzilla and Red Dragon will be jumping and crushing in a battle to find the carnage king!
Jason Smythe The ex-world championship Motocross rider Jason Smyth' show is crammed with spectacular stunts and huge, breathtaking jumps using both Quad bikes and Motorcycles.
Jet Truck
Rocket Ronnie brings some of his mad vehicles including his Jet Truck 'Roaring Thunder' which will be lighting the bonfire.
Jet Beetle
Another of Rocket Ronnie's vehicles is the Blue Max Jet Beetle, which will be lighting up the strip.
Freestyle Motocross
The UKFMX riders will be performing gravity defying tricks as they jump between ramps.
Titan the Robot
Be prepared to come face to face with the awesome 8ft robot Titan from Cyberstein Robots Limited.
Drift Demos
Drifting is big news at the moment, and we've got the top drivers in the UK with their tuned motors on our special drift circuit.
Firework Display
As always the climax to Flame & Thunder will be spectacular firework displays.
Bonfire
The firework displays will be accompanied by a massive bonfire.
Helicopter Pleasure Rides:
If you have always wanted to fly in a helicopter then you will have the chance at Flame & Thunder, with passenger rides around the raceway site available. £35 per adult & £30 per child, 10% saving for parties of 4 or more.
2Seater Dragster
Watch as the brave and the lucky get to ride down the strip in the 7 second Santa Pod 2Seater dragster. See the 2Seater page for how to book a ride.
Kids Entertainment
If the fabulous array of vehicles on show isn't enough to keep the kids happy there will also be children's entertainers, Nitro the Dragon, and a dedicated kids area with plenty to do including the Animal Antics animal experience.
Fun Fair
All the fun of the fair with rides, dodgems and arcades.
Wrestling
New for Santa Pod, there will be a wrestling ring at Flame & Thunder with display bouts throughout the day.
Kids Disco Make sure you come along to our Halloween disco and remember your costumes as there will be a fancy dress competition with a monster prize for the winner! All kids who are in fancy dress when they arrive at the main gate will receive a free gift.
Traders To keep you going during all the incredible motorsport action there will be a wide range of caterers, bars and traders! Santa Pod Raceway has several large toilet blocks with disabled facilities.
Weekend Tickets
Make a weekend of it with evening entertainment in Fuelers bar on Friday and Saturday including The Blue Renegades at 9pm on Saturday, then stay on for Run What Ya Brung (RWYB) on Sunday, where the famous quarter mile is open to the public. Car Clubs
All car clubs are welcome at Flame & Thunder, if you would like to book a club camping area please phone 01234 782828 before Friday 23rd October.
Fireworks Frenzy
At Santa Pod we pride ourselves on delivering exciting events which are good value for money and our local visitors are especially important to us. To that end, Fireworks Frenzy will take place on Thursday 5th November. This event will cater primarily for our local residents and those just wanting to come for the evening. We’ll present an exciting show of stunts and displays in the Live Action Arena, a large bonfire and a huge fireworks display. Details on the Fireworks Frenzy page.

VIP/Hospitality:
We still have places available for VIP/Hospitality at Flame & Thunder. For just £79 + VAT per person come along and enjoy the VIP experience including lunch and balcony viewing.
