Stunts & Drag Racing Family Firework Spectacular
Flame & Thunder is an action packed day for all the family featuring motorsport stunts and Drag Racing. Witness a huge gathering of jet vehicles including a Jet Dragster, Jet Funny Cars, Jet Truck and Jet Beetle. Experience 300mph Nitro guzzling Top Fuel machines along with cars and bikes from all classes of Drag Racing. Watch stunt displays including Monster Trucks, Freestyle Motocross, Drifting and Stunt Riders. The climax of the day will be a huge firework display with massive bonfire.

Top Fuel!
Your last chance to see nitro burning machines this season. Witness them power down the full 1/4 mile dragstrip and experience the explosive action of what top level Drag Racing has to offer.
More Drag Cars
There will be Drag displays running throughout the day featuring cars and bikes from a variety of national Drag Racing classes.
Fireforce Jet Funny Car
The World Record-Breaking Fireforce 3 Jet Car of Martin Hill!
Monster Trucks
Three mighty monster trucks Podzilla, Swamp Thing and Crusher will be jumping and crushing in a battle to find the carnage king!
Jet Dragster The Split Second Jet Dragster will be blasting down the track driven by Julian Webb.
Aerobatic Air Display
Mark Jefferies will be taking the event to new heights by performing a gravity defying, breath taking air display at 3pm. Mark has twice placed top ten in the World Aerobatic Championships.
Freestyle Motocross
FMX riders will be performing gravity defying tricks as they jump between ramps.
Firework Display
As always the climax to Flame & Thunder will be a spectacular firework displays.
Bonfire
There will be a huge bonfire to keep you warm lit by the Jet Beetle.
Jet Truck
Bringing some extra warmth to the November evening will be the Heat Wave Jet Truck.
Wall of Death
The classic motorcycle stunt show will be at Flame & Thunder with riders defying gravity as their bikes travel round the wall parallel to the ground.
Jet Beetle
Another of Rocket Ronnie's vehicles is the Blue Max Jet Beetle, which will be lighting up the strip.
Titan the Robot
Be prepared to come face to face with the awesome 8ft robot Titan from Cyberstein Robots Limited.
Eric Teboul
Frenchman Eric Teboul will be thundering down the track on his crazy Rocket Bike.
Triple Space Wheel
The Vander brothers from South Africa started out on the Flying Trapeze before performing on their Space Wheels.
Terry Grant Stunt Displays
The multiple world record breaking stunt driver Terry Grant will be bringing along numerous cars for his incredible stunt show.
Jet Karts
Real DIY jet engined vehicles built by keen individuals as seen on two episodes of Scrapheap Challenge where one of the programmes was filmed at Santa Pod.
Risk Club Stunt Riders
The Risk Club stunt team will be wowing the crowd with their jaw-dropping motorbike stunts.
Drift Show:
Drifters Team Maximum Lock from Malta will be performing their sideways driving, tyre-smokin’ show.
Drifting Demos & Passenger Rides
Some of the top drifters in the UK will be displaying their sideways driving skills and giving passenger rides.
Flaming Burnouts
Flaming burnouts made a welcome return to Santa Pod at Dragstalgia earlier in the year, if you missed out on that one, here's your chance to catch some rubber burning action.
Monster Truck Rides
Rides in the back of the monster truck Red Dragon will be available throughout the day.
Zero Gravity
Featuring Chris Doney, a freestyle wizard who is one of the best mountain bike riders in the business. This stunt team offer an amazing display of freestyle mountain bike riding demonstrating immense talent and skill.
Kids Entertainment
If the fabulous array of vehicles on show isn't enough to keep the kids happy there will also be children's entertainers, Nitro the Dragon, a Kids Playbus and Circus Whiz's interactive circus skills workshop.
Kids Disco! Make sure you come along to our Halloween disco and remember your costumes as there is a prize for best fancy dress!
Fun Fair Rides
All the fun of the fair with rides, dodgems and arcades.
Ice Rink
Young and old alike can try out their skating skills on the Flame & Thunder Ice Rink.
Live Music
The will be musical entertainment on stage during the day (act tbc) and also live a band playing in Fuelers Bar late into the evening.
Live American Wrestling:
The stars of Extreme American Wrestling are gearing up for two action packed, body slamming shows! Only the biggest muscle bound wrestlers and extreme high flyers will be present as they get set to impress.
Radio Controlled Cars:
A variety of 1/10th scale electric radio controlled cars including drift cars will be racing on a special track where the public will be able to test their skills along with the experts.
Poi Circus
If the jet cars aren't enough, there will be even more flames during the Poi Circus fire show.
Helicopter Pleasure Flights:
If you have always wanted to fly in a helicopter then this is your chance, with passenger flights around the raceway site available from Cranfield Helicopters. (Weather permitting. £30 adults, £25 kids, £100 family of 4)
2Seater Dragster
Watch as the brave and the lucky get to ride down the strip in the 7 second Santa Pod 2Seater dragster. See the 2Seater page for how to book a ride.
Traders To keep you going during all the incredible motorsport action there will be a wide range of caterers, bars and traders! Santa Pod Raceway has several large toilet blocks with disabled facilities.
Weekend Tickets
Make a weekend of it with evening entertainment in Fuelers bar on Friday and Saturday, then stay on for Run What Ya Brung (RWYB) on Sunday, where the famous quarter mile is open to the public. Details at www.RWYB.com, please note the track is not open for RWYB on Saturday.
Car Clubs
All car clubs are welcome at Flame & Thunder, if you would like to book a club camping area please phone 01234 782828 before Friday 21st October.
Enjoy The Evening
Avoid the traffic queues that form immediately after the fireworks display and stay to enjoy the extended activities on and off the track, including the Monster Trucks, Fun Fair rides and a Live Band in the bar.
Fireworks Frenzy
At Santa Pod we pride ourselves on delivering exciting events which are good value for money and our local visitors are especially important to us. To that end, Fireworks Frenzy will take place on Saturday 3rd November. This event will cater primarily for our local residents and those just wanting to come for the evening. We’ll present an exciting show of stunts and displays in the Live Action Arena, a large bonfire and a huge fireworks display. Details on the Fireworks Frenzy page.

Advance ticket orders are subject to a booking fee of £2 per ticket
and postage fee of £3 per order (no postage fee on "print at home tickets"). Maximum single order of 9 entrance tickets.
Advanced ticket prices end on the Friday a week before the event weekend at 5pm. After this time only "print at home tickets" will be available at standard rate.
All tickets are non-refundable.
Ticket prices are per person.
* Three FREE kids per paying Adult, photo ID is required if kids look older than they are.
Day admission is 8am-6pm, day tickets will be sold on the gate until 4pm.
Camping is included with multi-day tickets.
Parking is free.
