2010 Photography Competition
| The winner of the Photo Competition to find the best photo taken at Flame & Thunder 2010 was Mark Skinner who won a year's magazine subscription. |

Judges Comments: Panning is a tricky technique, and especially difficult when the subject is moving at such speed, but Mark has captured a great sense of speed here while also capturing a slice of the event itself, with the blurred crowd in the background and the streaking advertising boards. I love the bike’s reflection too – it gives a great idea of what conditions were like at the event and balances the composition perfectly. Ben Hawkins - Deputy editor, Practical Photography. |
Thank you to everyone who entered and keep an eye out for more photo competitions in the future. The competition was open to anyone except accredited press and the winner was judged by Practical Photography Magazine.
