The Santa Pod Terry Grant Stunt Academy
The Moves
Hold on to your hat. By the time you wrap up for the day, you’ll be well on your way to mastering these car-chase classics!

The ‘J’ Turn (Peugeot 206)
High speed reverse, linked by a fast, fluid 180 degree flick into rapid forward movement. One of the most important evasive techniques in the book, this essential move is taught to SAS and Presidential drivers as a means of getting out of trouble fast! |

The Handbrake Turn (Peugeot 206)
One of the easiest to master and most satisfying to complete, the handbrake turn allows the car to turn on a sixpence around the inside front wheel. Great fun around a cone for perfect hairpin handling, but pupils showing real car control will be invited to attempt the ‘handbrake park’, where the car swings neatly into a tiny parking space. However, don’t try this in Tesco’s car park 007! |

Reverse Donuts (Peugeot 206)
If you thought that only rear-wheel drive cars can donuts, then let our instructors prove you wrong! With careful throttle and steering control, you’ll soon have the GTi spinning like a top in a plume of tyre smoke! |

Drifting (BMW M3)
Balancing a 286bhp RWD car in a glorious powerslide with delicate steering and throttle inputs ranks right up there as one of life’s ‘must dos’. Don’t be daunted by the M3’s grunt though, as your instructor is by your side, guiding you through the entire process and setting you up for the kind of moves that get Hollywood producers on the phone. You don’t even need to worry about the tyres so go for it! |

Power Donuts (BMW M3)
A move that looks simple, but one that takes a surprising amount of skill and throttle sensitivity. Here, you’ll hold your M3 in a tightly controlled do-nut, laying down perfect rubber circles on the hallowed Santa Pod tarmac. If you’re feeling really confident, we might even let you do it one handed! |

Two Wheel Driving (Peugeot 206)
This specially prepared car will let you try driving on two wheels with out fear of rolling over although the idea is to achieve perfect balance without using the stabiliser. |
